Hilda
Lily Taule, age 89, a long time Sweet Grass area
farm wife, passed away Tuesday (Jan. 8th) at the
Marias Care Center due to natural causes. Visitation is Thursday at the
Whitted Funeral Chapel and Friday from noon until service time at the church.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm
Friday at the Sunburst Methodist Church with burial to follow in the
Sunburst Cemetery .
Survivors include her daughters, Joyce (Ron) Bair of Milk River, ALB, Dorothy (Frank) Lippa of Coutts, ALB, Mary (Terry) Schwindt of Kevin and Vivian Taule of Mayo, FL.; son, Joe (Carmel) Taule of Sunburst, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Taule in 1972, son, Victor Taule and brother, Alex Vargo
She was born June 16, 1918 to Vincent & Lydia (Horgus) Vargo on the family farm west of Sweet Grass where she grew up and was educated. She married Joseph Taule September 25, 1943 at Havre. They retired in the late 60”s and moved to Sunburst.
Hilda enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and was a collector of everything. She was a member of the Sunburst Methodist Church and the Lady Moose.
