Margaret Elise Waller King, 69, of Missoula, went into the arms of our Lord on April 4, 2009, surrounded by her family.  Friends may visit Margaret and the family Wednesday April 8, 2009 at Whitted Funeral Home in Cut Bank and a celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Cut Bank on Thursday April 9, 2009 at 12:00 P. M. with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery.   Whitted Funeral Chapel of Cut Bank is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences for the family may be sent to www.whittedfuneralchapel.com

Margaret was born to Dr. George and Barbara Waller on January 17, 1940 in Poplar, MT.  She attended Cut Bank Schools graduating in 1958.

Margaret married Rod King November 30, 1984. They moved to Gillette, WY where Margaret was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday school, Director of Bible School, Presbyterian Women, Deacons, Hospice Volunteer, Crisis Line Counselor, and volunteering to help people in need of support services.

Margaret created beautiful flower gardens and the springtime was her favorite to make such wonderful masterpieces.  She also was an avid reader, interior decorator and loved art.  Above anything else Margaret loved to hear her children, grandchildren, sister, brothers, and great grandchildren laugh.  Margaret was a very caring, uplifting mother, grandma, sister and friend.

Margaret is survived by her children:  Leo (Emorie) Bird of Badger Creek, Robin Bird (Frid England) of Cut Bank, Mark Bird of Boise, ID, Maureen (Joel) Zwiefelhofer of Missoula, Russell (Joan) King of Arizona; sister Barbara (Thomas) Martin of Lafayette, CO; brothers Don (Gayle) Waller of Kalispell, Bob (Maryanne) Waller of Cut Bank; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her loving schnauzer, Max.  She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. George and Barbara Waller; husband Rod King and baby brother Thomas Pendleton Waller.

Though she will be dearly missed, her wisdom and humor can be found in the lives she touched.  We love you mom!  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials made in Margaret’s name to the charity of your choice.
