Debra
Ruth Brown, 56, a homemaker and former business owner from Kevin
passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at her home due to heart failure.
Visitation is
Tuesday from 1:00 - 8:00 PM at the Whitted Funeral Chapel in Shelby .
Funeral service is set for
2:00 PM Wednesday, February 17, at the Whitted Chapel with burial to
follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in Shelby .
Survivors include her husband Randy Brown of Kevin; daughters, Autumn (Loren) Running of Shelby, Kris Brown of Kevin and Melanie (Roy) Lackner of Big Sandy; sons, Jasen (Kari) Bronec of Cut Bank and Michael (Tara) Kimball of Great Falls; sisters, Karen (Jack) Hoover of Great Falls, Patricia Jordan of Borden, IN, and Joan (Jeff) Soloanek of Kalamazoo, MI; brothers, Ronald (Carol) Kimball, Don Kimball and Glen (Debbie) Kimball all of Great Falls, and Dean (Phyllis) Kimball of Virginia; as well as grandchildren, Kyler, Haliey, and Tiegan Bronec, Troy Running, Daniel, Allissa and McKayla Kimball, and Devin, Trevor, Teia and Keira Lackner.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Kimball.
Debra was born July 18, 1952 at Great Falls to Clarence & Joyce (Alberecht) Kimball where she grew up and graduated from CMR High School in 1971. She then graduated from the University of Washington . She married Robert Bronec and the couple farmed in the Fort Benton-Geraldine area for a time before they divorced. Debra moved back to Great Falls where she owned and operated the Plush Pillow Bed Store for many years and married Dave McClellan. They later divorced
In 1993 Debra married Randy Brown and has lived in Kevin since. She was a top notch cook but also enjoyed traveling, reading, doing puzzles and most of all spending time with her beloved family.
