Margaret Ann Caldwell, 72, of Sunburst, left us Tuesday, May 5, 2009 after
her nine month battle with cancer. Memorial services are 2:00 PM Saturday
May 9th at the Sunburst Methodist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Dobbins of Marino Valley, CA; brother, David
Dobbins of Bullhead City, CA; 5 children, Susan (Tom) Otto of Missoula, Janice
(John) Wood of Galata, Carl Brickel of Sunburst, Michael (Pam) Caldwell of
Calhoun, GA, and Jerry (Fran) Caldwell of Harrisburg, PA; 14 grandchildren,
Nathan (Brandi), Kari (Charlie), Brian, Sadie, Tyra, Mandy (Brian), Justin
(Suzanne), Aaron, Stacey, Michael, Marcus, Tommy, Loren, and Arlin; 9 great
grandchildren, Cierrah, Marryn, Demi, Danica, Rainy Daye, Lane, Damion, Michael,
and Ryan.
Margaret was born April 6, 1937 in Kansas City, MO. Her family then moved to
Riverside, CA where she grew up. Later in life, she returned to Sunburst, where
she remained until the time of her death. Margaret enjoyed many things in life,
one being her love of cooking. Throughout her life, she was a waitress and cook
for several of the surrounding areas cafes. She also greatly loved and
cherished spending time with her family and friends. Margaret's church and
bible study group were also a very important part of her life. Also, she was
very proud of her hobby of collecting salt and pepper shakers, in which she has
at least 200 sets. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was very precious to us all.
