Anna
Marie Anderson, 64, a retired dietary assistant from Shelby, passed away
Friday, February 27, 2009, following a long battle with cancer. Memorial
services are scheduled for Monday, March 2, at 2:00 pm at St Luke’s Lutheran
Church with burial of ashes to follow in the Valley View Cemetery. Whitted
Funeral Chapel of Shelby is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests
memorials may be given to the Gift of Life.
Anna was born on January 12, 1945 to Albert W. and Hilma (Kjellstrom) Anderson. She attended elementary and high schools in Shelby. She and Cal Stores were married in November of 1968 and were later divorced. Anna worked as a dietary assistant retiring in March of 2006 because of illness. She was a member of St Luke’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed bowling, animals, crafts and especially her grandchildren.
Anna is survived by her children, Jeff (Tiffany) Stores of Shelby and Terri (Chad) Grace of Kalispell; brother, John (Debbie) Anderson of Shelby; her four grandchildren, Brock and Hayden Stores and Riley and Cruz Grace; as well as nephews, Brian and Keil. She was preceded in death by her parents.
